bright and generally cheerful, b'nhea tyatu was born in the slums of ul'dah, and spent much of his early life following around his twin sister b'raemha and her best friend, nena neirmhuyo. despite the fact that the two disappeared once they all turned 16, he never gave up on looking for them. he trained with the coliseum, eventually becoming noticed enough to be offered a position within the immortal flames. he became an officer, until he saw nena once again and decided to go awol so that he could search for b'raemha once more.

he is my wol, and in amaurot he was called persephone. he has had relationships with both haurchefant and emet-selch.

left with the thaumaturges' guild in ul'dah as a young child by a mother who could not help with her nascent magic, nena has long been known as both a prodigy in the arts and one of the most withdrawn members of the guild. though she has not been seen within the city in years, some within the guild still murmur of her and her best friend and rival, b'raemha, who showed more promise than most trainees. the two were never seen apart, but nena now travels eorzea and beyond alone.

sold at the tender age of 6 while his mother traveled the far east as a merchant, ehli'sae learned his letters and maths as an assistant to an elderly merchant. when he turned 9, he was sold again-- this time to a high-end brothel in kugane. he ran errands for the brothel until he turned 15, and had only a single friend in the city. ehli'sae escaped kugane under suspicious circumstances, and word has spread among the underside of the city of the pricey courtesan who killed two of his clients before fleeing to eorzea.

a loud and boisterous au ra, all khenbish really wants to do is test his strength against others and maybe eat some good food while he does so. he left home a few years back, bored with helping to train the younger members of the tribe and with the skirmishes he found in the steppe. and, more than that, filled with a deep loneliness that his tribe could not abate. khenbish is the first incarnation of his particular soul and, while no one else in the tribe seems to find anything unusual with this, he clearly has a complex about it.

nerguii only left the steppes recently, and the reason is only clear when he tries to speak or removes the scarf from around his neck. while still capable of a raspy sort of speech, nerguii's throat was cut by an arrow in a raid by another tribe. while he survived, speech is painful, and singing impossible. this proved a detriment in communication with his fellow tribe members, and even his ability with the flute and kalimba was not enough to communicate fluently. he left the steppes in search of those who can understand him, especially when he signs.

abandoned to the church shortly after being born, lera was raised with the intent of joining the clergy, despite her half-blooded status. when she came of age and was denied knighthood on both that ground and that of her gender, she resigned herself to conjury instead, despite her long-time dream of being one of the knights of the church. after the events of heavensward, lera has left ishgard and is learning swordsmanship-- if she cannot be a knight of the church, she will be an adventurer instead.

after his parents died in garlemald, arsenius inherited their shop. while his parents had been talented engineers, arsenius is more prone to making mechanical frogs than he is weapons. their accountant convinced him to sign his inheritance over, and the naive mechanic did so. for a time, he lived a life of luxury-- up until the moment he began to work with the populares, and the accountant threw him out onto the streets. despondent and homeless, arsenius traveled to eorzea in the hopes of making a new life. he hides his third eye, and is learning alchemy.

aisling was born to a minor noblewoman, and while she often ignored him he wanted for little. when he was old enough, he became a dragoon, intent on serving ishgard, on proving himself worthy despite his half-blooded status. his first station was camp dragonhead, and he stayed there until he was captured by heretic and force-fed dragons' blood. he was rescued before the transformation was truly irreversible, but was left with the marks of it regardless-- horns and sharp, thick nails. he is unsure if his mixed heritage is what saved him, or simply the dosage. he has fled ishgard, and now travels eorzea.
